Leisure: Teatro Ventidio Basso, Teatro dei Filarmonici, sport and Colle San Marco
The Comune runs the Teatro Ventidio Basso (drama season, free guided visits) and the Teatro dei Filarmonici, looks after sports facilities and promotes the Colle San Marco adventure park. Ascoli was European City of Sport 2025.

Theatres
The Teatro Ventidio Basso has a 2026/27 season and, in winter hours (September to May), the box office is open Monday to Saturday from 9:30 to 12:30 and from 16:30 to 19:30. The theatre can be visited free of charge on Fridays from 15:00 to 18:00 and on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays and pre-holidays from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 15:00 to 18:00. The Comune also runs the Teatro dei Filarmonici and the municipal halls.
Sport and green spaces
The Comune, which obtained the European City of Sport title for 2025 with a dossier of almost 100 pages, has a Sport and Sports Facilities service and pages on the maintenance of parks and gardens ("Ascoli Green") and on the Colle San Marco adventure park.
