Municipal IRPEF surcharge
The Comune levies the municipal surcharge on IRPEF (personal income tax) at a single rate of 0.80% with an exemption threshold of 13,000 euros, unchanged for every year from 2019 to 2025, the latest listed on the Comune's page. Those above the threshold pay the surcharge on their whole income, not only on the part above it.
Passes
Brescia Mobilità's 2026/2027 passes went on sale on Monday 3 August 2026: annual, monthly, multi-month, student and schoolchild passes, at full price or with the applicable discounts. The annual student pass can be paid in two instalments (September–December and January–August), as can the ordinary annual pass (a first instalment of 50% valid for four months and a second for the following eight months). The Teen Pass 2008+, a discounted annual pass promoted by the Comune with the Brescia Mobilità group for those born in 2008 or later, is sold online only. Other passes are sold on the eShop, at the Infopoint Turismo e Mobilità, at some retailers in Brescia and 14 neighbouring municipalities and at some ticket machines in metro stations.
