Costs: housing, transport and the fish market
Rents and house prices for the central zone are in the data block. For transport, AMTS sells 90-minute and day tickets and monthly and annual passes; the "MetroBus City" pass is also valid on the metro; the Alibus to the airport has a separate ticket.

Transport
The AMTS 90-minute ticket and the day ticket (valid until 23:59) are valid on all urban lines except Alibus and can also be bought on board. Monthly passes are valid for the calendar month and are renewed only electronically; the annual pass costs as much as ten monthly ones. There are passes for students, including non-resident university students, with a promotional annual rate. The integrated "MetroBus City" pass is valid for 30 days on the FCE metro and on all AMTS lines except Alibus and 524S.
Alibus
The Alibus, the airport line, has its own ticket, then valid for 90 minutes on all urban lines; ordinary AMTS tickets and passes and FCE tickets are not valid on the Alibus. It is sold on board for cash or card, in the AMT Catania app, at the ticket office, at resellers and at partner hotels.
Shopping
For fish, the historic reference is the Pescheria, the morning market reached down a staircase of volcanic stone.
