In Como, public housing (servizi abitativi pubblici, SAP) is assigned by notice. The 2026 notice was issued by Ambito territoriale 31, coordinated by the Comune di Como, for units in Como, Faggeto Lario and Lipomo, under regional regulation no. 4/2017. Later openings are published on the Comune's website.
Where and how
Applications are submitted online only, on the regional housing-services platform, after registering the applicant's and household members' details. The notice mentions help with the form at the Comune di Como by appointment and through the ALER call centre (031.3191). The unit owners were the Comune di Como, the Comune di Faggeto Lario and ALER, the Lombard residential-housing agency that also covers Varese, Monza Brianza and Busto Arsizio.
Main requirements
Listed requirements include an ISEE of no more than 16,000 euros, residence or work in Lombardy, and no adequate home in the same municipality or within 40 km.
