Leisure: river park, cycling climbs, bicycle station and the October fair
The Gesso and Stura river park surrounds the city, with recreational areas also reached by the panoramic lift; cycling routes such as the climbs to Colle dell'Agnello and Colle Fauniera start from Cuneo, and there is a bicycle station. The recurring event is the National Chestnut Fair, in October in the historic centre.

The Gesso and Stura river park surrounds the city and its recreational areas can also be reached by the panoramic lift from the centre. For cyclists, routes signposted by the tourist board start from Cuneo, such as the climbs to Colle dell'Agnello and Colle Fauniera, and the GrandaBus consortium runs a velostazione for bicycle storage.
Recurring events
The main recurring event is the Fiera Nazionale del Marrone, held in October between via Roma and piazza Galimberti: food and wine, crafts, educational workshops, exhibitions, shows and concerts, with evening hours on Friday and Saturday.
