Changing residence in Forlì

1. Within 20 days of moving

   The declaration must be submitted within 20 days of the move and signed by all adult household members, with copies of their ID documents.

2. Choose the channel

   Online with SPID or CIE through the ANPR web form; by registered mail to the Unità Anagrafe e Stato Civile, via Oberdan 2; by email or PEC, as a single PDF file with all documents; or in person at the Registry Office, by appointment only, booked online or by phone.

3. Attach the right documents

   Non-EU citizens attach the documents in Annex A of the Ministry of the Interior, EU citizens those in Annex B: without them the declaration is inadmissible.

4. Checks

   The change takes effect after 2 working days; the Comune has 45 days for checks, which may include a visit to the address. If the requirements are not met, the registration is cancelled retroactively.

Library

The municipal library lends books free of charge: residents of the provinces of Forlì-Cesena, Ravenna, Rimini and Pesaro e Urbino and of San Marino, students of the University of Bologna's Romagna campuses domiciled in the province, and people living in Forlì for work can register. A card of the Rete bibliotecaria di Romagna e San Marino is required.

Public offices

At piazza Saffi 8, the town hall, the Public Relations Office (URP) and the Informagiovani share the sala XC Pacifici; appointments with municipal offices are booked through the Comune's website.
