Who covers the city

ASReM is divided into three Health Districts. No. 3 is Isernia's and, according to the authority's page, covers the territory of Isernia, Agnone and Venafro; the others are Campobasso (Campobasso, Boiano, Riccia) and Termoli (Termoli and Larino).

What the district does

The districts page lists among the district's tasks primary health care, including continuità assistenziale, coordination of general practitioners and family paediatricians, vaccinations, family clinics, integrated home care, sports medicine and, in the Campobasso, Isernia and Termoli districts, health surveillance of migrants (STP-ENI). Each district has a Porta Unica di Accesso (PUA), the first contact point with ASReM: reception, information, first-level assessment and referral to health or social services.

Opening hours, locations, numbers and access rules change: check the ASReM site. For this entry it was not possible to verify on official pages the hospital and emergency department of Isernia, the on-call doctor locations and how to choose a GP: ask District no. 3 or see the Molise Region's health page.
