Daily life: registry by appointment, waste and a networked library system
Lecco's registry and civil-status services (residence, ID card, certificates) are reached from the Comune's Services section and by online booking. Library enrolment is free and valid across the province; the Comune publishes waste rules and services and the recycling centre.

Registry office
The «Anagrafe e stato civile» section of the Comune's site covers registry certificates, birth, residence, ID card, travel documents and marriage. Appointments are booked online from the «Prenota appuntamento» page; the Comune's switchboard answers on 0341 481111.
Waste
The «Gestione rifiuti» page brings together the municipal regulation, collection and management services and information on the recycling centre (Centro di raccolta differenziata); for reports and assistance the Comune points to an online reporting portal.
Libraries
Library enrolment is free and valid for all libraries in the province; it is done at any library of the Sistema bibliotecario, where it is immediate, or by online pre-registration at lecco.biblioteche.it, but borrowing still requires a visit to a library. You need an identity document and the CRS or CNS card; minors must be accompanied by a parent. The «U. Pozzoli» civic library is at via Giuseppe Bovara 58; the city also has the Biblioteca specializzata in Musica at Villa Gomes. The page warns that the online service may be unavailable: check with the library.
