Leisure: theatre season, Lecco Jazz Festival, planetarium and the Manzoni festival
The Comune runs the theatre season and the Lecco Jazz Festival, operates a civic planetarium with regular evenings and promotes the festival «Lecco Città dei Promessi Sposi». The Torre Viscontea hosts temporary exhibitions.

Theatre, music and planetarium
The Comune's Cultura e Grandi Eventi office runs the theatre season with the ticket office, the artistic direction and the organisation of the Lecco Jazz Festival, as well as cultural programmes and major tourist events. The Comune also publishes the evenings at the civic Planetarium, with dates announced month by month.
Festival and exhibitions
The festival «Lecco Città dei Promessi Sposi», dedicated to Alessandro Manzoni, held its 18th edition in 2026, with a «Fuori Festival» of school activities, a Manzoni dinner and walk and the Premio Letterario Alessandro Manzoni. The Torre Viscontea hosts temporary exhibitions and the Comune publishes calls for proposals.
