The city's zones

The Comune organises waste-collection calendars by zone, with these names: Albarola, Centro (A, B and C), Fanfani-Pratello, Laghi-Oltreadda, Martinetta-Torretta-S. Grato, Olmo, Riolo-Fontana, S. Bernardo and S. Fereolo, plus dedicated areas such as the Polo Universitario. They are the divisions used by the waste service, not an official list of districts.

Historic centre and identity

The historic centre is delimited by a Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL) with three gates, on corso Vittorio Emanuele near piazza Castello, on via Garibaldi near via IV Novembre and on corso Roma near via XX Settembre. The tourism site has sections on historic buildings, Liberty villas and façades, and famous people of Lodi, and the Comune has a page on the river Adda among its environmental topics.
