Daily life: residence online, ID card and Mantova Ambiente services
In Mantova a change of residence is declared online (ANPR or the municipal portal) or at the counter by appointment: it is recorded within 2 days and checked within 45. It must also be notified to Mantova Ambiente (Tea) for the waste charge; the company offers home collection for people who cannot put bins out and for nappies and incontinence pads.

Residence and change of address
The declaration is made once you already live at the new address, using one channel only: the national ANPR portal or the municipal registry-services portal (both with SPID, CIE or CNS), online submission of the signed forms without authentication, or the counter, by appointment only, booked online. If formally correct it is recorded within 2 days and takes effect from the date it was submitted; within 45 days the Comune checks the requirements, including at the declared address, and if you hear nothing the registration is deemed confirmed. The change must also be notified to Mantova Ambiente (Tea), using the form indicated by the Comune, to activate the household waste account.
Electronic identity card
The CIE is issued to Mantova residents from age 0; people who live in the city without being resident (for example because they are in a care facility) must write to the Comune's public relations office (URP), and the card is not issued on the spot but after the requirements have been checked. Waste: home services
Three Mantova Ambiente services are requested through the Comune: collection of waste from inside the home for people who, for health reasons, cannot put their bins out; collection of nappies for families with children up to three years old, with orange bags supplied at a reduced charge; and collection of incontinence pads for elderly people or those with certified conditions, with free grey bags. You fill in the form of the Environment and Animal Welfare Office, attaching an ID document and the certificates; the request is accepted within 30 days.
