Costs: ATM passes, concessions and the Strait ticket
Rents and house prices for the central zone are in the data block. ATM sells tickets valid 100 minutes on buses and trams, day, 72-hour and 7-day tickets, and monthly, quarterly and annual passes, with concessions for students, minimum-pension retirees, the unemployed and workers under company agreements. An integrated ticket combines ATM, the hydrofoil to Reggio and ATAM buses.

Tickets and passes
The ATM single ticket is valid for 100 minutes from first validation, including for several rides; there are also the double daily validation ticket, the day ticket, the 72-hour and the 7-day ticket. Monthly, quarterly and annual passes are valid on all lines, bus and tram, and are bought at the Via La Farina front office, at ATM kiosks or online; they must be shown together with an ID.
- Students: annual pass on all lines for the school period, with a self-declaration of the start and end dates of classes; the request can also be made online to the Comune, with SPID, CIE or CNS (processing up to 30 days).
- Retirees with a pension below the INPS minimum and aged at least 67: reduced monthly pass.
- Unemployed people registered with the job centre: reduced monthly pass.
- Employees of public bodies, schools and companies: annual pass under an agreement (minimum 100 passes).
- UICI and ENS members: 30% discount on passes; companions of blind passengers travel free.
Strait ticket
The "Integrato dello Stretto" ticket combines 100 minutes on ATM buses and trams, one Liberty Lines Messina–Reggio Calabria crossing and 75 minutes on Reggio's ATAM buses; it is bought electronically on the Liberty Lines platform, while the funds that finance it last.
