Cost of living: tiered municipal income-tax surcharge from 0.69% to 0.80%
For 2025 the Department of Finance lists for Oristano a municipal IRPEF surcharge in four brackets, from 0.69% (up to 15,000 euros) to 0.80% (above 50,000), with an exemption up to 10,000 euros. Municipal income-tax surcharge
For 2025 the Department of Finance sheet for Oristano lists: 0.69% on taxable income up to 15,000.00 euros; 0.72% from 15,000.01 to 28,000.00; 0.76% from 28,000.01 to 50,000.00; 0.80% above 50,000.00. An exemption is shown for taxable incomes up to 10,000.00 euros. The resolution is no. 19 of 5 May 2022 (confirmation), published on 20 December 2025; the sheet notes that the rate was not sent by the municipality and was entered ex officio, without saying which bracket it refers to.
