Registry office
The Comune di Sassari registry office handles registry certificates, births, residence, identity cards and documents for travel abroad. Appointments are booked on the municipal portal through the «Prenota appuntamento» function; the central switchboard and the online assistance request form answer questions.
Waste
The separate waste collection service has a dedicated website with the collection calendar, the recycling centres (equipped areas for many types of waste), a mobile collection point with published days and times, and smart stations for dropping off residual waste and plastic. The site also describes the collection service for bulky waste and large electrical items.
Alerts and civil protection
The municipal portal refers to the regional Civil Protection for weather warnings and fire-danger bulletins; the municipal civil protection plan can be consulted in the Comune's territorial information system.
