Cost of living: 0.8% income-tax surcharge with an exemption up to 12,500 euros

Municipal income-tax surcharge
For 2025 the Department of Finance lists for Vercelli an exemption for taxable income up to 12,500 euros and a single rate of 0.8% (resolution no. 91 of 19 December 2024, published on 3 February 2025, note "modifica"). The page does not state which income base the single rate applies to.
TARI
The TARI is due from occupants of properties and is managed by the Ufficio Gestione Entrate Proprie e Tributarie (piazza Municipio 5, Town Hall). To activate it a declaration must be filed; changes and cessations must be reported to the Sportello Entrate within 90 days, also by certified email. Rates are approved by the municipal executive (Giunta), which also sets payment deadlines by resolution; the Taxpayer Portal lets you check your position and pay.
