Identity: Sant'Andrea, the Duomo, the old ghetto and the ARCA in a converted church
The municipality presents Vercelli through its places: the Basilica of Sant'Andrea, the Cathedral of S. Eusebio (seat of the Archdiocese), the synagogue built in 1878 in the old ghetto area and the ARCA, carved out of the former medieval church of San Marco. The ATL places the city in the "Vercelli and the Rice Lands" area.

A city of medieval architecture
The municipality describes the Basilica of Sant'Andrea (via Galileo Ferraris 2) as a work fusing Romanesque and Gothic, commissioned by Cardinal Guala Bicchieri; the Cathedral of S. Eusebio, known as the Duomo, is the main place of worship and seat of the Archdiocese of Vercelli; the church of S. Cristoforo is known for its Renaissance architecture.
Ghetto, synagogue, ARCA
The synagogue (via Foa 70) was built in 1878 in the area of the old ghetto and the municipality calls it one of the most significant post-ghetto synagogues in Europe. The ARCA, in piazzetta San Marco, comes from the transformation of the old medieval church of San Marco, with a glass-and-steel structure inside.
Rice Lands
The ATL tourism site groups Vercelli in the "Vercelli e Terre del Riso" area. I found no division into neighbourhoods on the municipality's site.
