Leisure: historic parks and free outdoor sport in summer
The Comune looks after seven historic parks and gardens, from Parco Querini along the Bacchiglione to Campo Marzo near the station and the Giardino della Vittoria on Monte Berico. From June to September «Estate nei parchi» offers free sports classes open to everyone in four parks.

- Parco Querini: between the Bacchiglione, its tributary the Astichello and the Venetian walls along viale Rodolfi; a tree-lined avenue with statues, a pond with an islet and small temple, woodland and a fitness trail. Entrances are on viale Rumor and the hospital footbridge; the viale Rodolfi entrance is closed for works.
- Campo Marzo: near the station, crossed by viale Roma; to the west the historic O-shaped path and a fenced playground, to the east the tree-lined viale Dalmazia leading towards Monte Berico.
- Giardino Valmarana Salvi: between piazza Castello and piazzale De Gasperi, with statues, crossed by the Seriola canal and overlooked by the Palladian Loggia Valmarana and the Loggia Longhena.
- Parco di Villa Guiccioli: on top of the Ambellicopoli hill, within the Museum of the Risorgimento and the Resistance, with 536 trees and shrubs; entrance from viale X Giugno.
- Giardino della Vittoria: from piazzale della Vittoria on Monte Berico, with views over the city, the mountains and the Sanctuary.
- Giardino del Teatro Olimpico (the visitors' entrance to the Theatre, with archaeological finds and remains of the Teatro Verdi) and the Giardino dell'abside di San Lorenzo, small and fenced, on corso Fogazzaro.
Estate nei parchi
«Estate nei parchi», run by the city's sports department with local associations and clubs, reached its 19th edition in 2026: from June to September, Monday to Sunday, free classes open to everyone in yoga, capoeira, pilates, pickleball, ju jitsu, social walking, meditation and more at Parco Querini, Parco Fornaci, Parco Città and, for the first time, Parco della Pace. In bad weather classes are suspended unless the instructors say otherwise.
