Healthcare: ASReM district on via Petrella, Cardarelli hub and CUP-PASS
Campobasso hosts ASReM's Social-Health District no. 1, based with its desks at via Ugo Petrella 1. The Cardarelli hospital is the hub of the single regional hospital network. GP choices and revocations at the district offices; bookings at the CUP-PASS desks on via Petrella, via Gramsci and via Toscana, as well as at participating pharmacies and GP practices.

Who covers the city
ASReM, Molise's single health authority, has three social-health districts: Campobasso hosts District no. 1, which also covers the Boiano and Riccia areas, with its offices and desks at via Ugo Petrella 1. Each district runs a Porta Unica di Accesso (PUA), the first point of contact for navigating health and social services; the district also handles GP choices and revocations, exemptions and out-of-hours care.
Cardarelli hospital
The Campobasso hospital is the hub of ASReM's single regional hospital network, with the Isernia and Termoli hospitals as spokes: the Cardarelli's units include emergency medicine and surgery (the emergency room), anaesthesia and intensive care, the stroke unit and nuclear medicine.
Bookings: CUP-PASS
Visits and tests are booked at the CUP-PASS desks: in the city at via Ugo Petrella 1 (weekdays 8:00–13:30 and 14:00–17:30), on via Gramsci and via Toscana (weekdays 8:15–18:00, Saturday 8:15–13:00). The PASS network also includes participating pharmacies, GP practices and town halls across the area. Since 2020, cancelling unused bookings has been mandatory.
