Public housing (ERP)

The municipal regulation on the allocation and use of public housing, approved by the city council on 20 February 2024, names Casalp – Casa Livorno e Provincia S.p.A. as manager, in charge of maintenance and administration. The Comune publishes a general call at least every four years and updates the ranking through an update call at least every two years; a transfer call for existing tenants who want to move comes out at least every four years. Non-residents who work steadily in Livorno can also apply; non-EU citizens need a long-term permit or a permit of at least two years together with regular work.

Renting privately

Private tenants who live in the rented home can apply once a year for the city's Bando Affitti grant, online. Public-housing flats and the cadastral categories A/1, A/8 and A/9 are excluded.
