ZTL
Lodi's ZTL has three gates: on corso Vittorio Emanuele near piazza Castello, on via Garibaldi near via IV Novembre and on corso Roma near via XX Settembre; bicycles can circulate freely. Control is electronic, with licence plates read and compared with «white lists» of authorised vehicles: each gate has its own list, so someone authorised for one gate who enters from another is fined. The permit must be displayed on the dashboard. For special needs (events, house moves) temporary permits exist. The ZTL Office is at the Polizia Locale headquarters in via Cadamosto 13 (0371 409.615, infoztl@comune.lodi.it).
Station
Lodi's RFI railway station has five platforms for passenger trains, a ticket office, a bar, a tobacconist and a minimarket; outside the station there are the local public transport bus stop, a covered bike park, cycle paths, car rental, electric vehicle charging points and the FS Park car park. Assistance for passengers with disabilities goes through the Sala Blu in Milan and must be requested up to 12 hours before.
Provincial pass
For travel within the province the Region offers the «Io viaggio ovunque in provincia» pass, for local public transport in the province of Lodi; the page consulted does not describe its conditions, so zones and validity should be checked on the Lombardy Region's site.
