Offices and online services
For registry matters the municipal portal points to ANPR and to Matera Digitale, where you log in with SPID and find registry data, land registry, payments and online declarations. Appointments with offices are booked from the portal; the switchboard is 0835 2411 (toll-free). The social emergency service is active 24 hours a day.
Waste
Separate waste collection has a dedicated site, "Matera Pulita" (differenziatasubambitounomatera.it), linked from the municipality's home page.
Markets
The municipality assigns pitches on public land in the Rioni Sassi for non-food products on a seasonal basis.
