Housing: public housing and university residences

Public housing in the province is managed by ATER Padova, which publishes the list of municipal calls. ESU Padova offers more than 1,650 student beds in residences spread across many districts, from Portello to Arcella, plus sites in Legnaro, Rovigo, Vicenza and Castelfranco Veneto.

Public housing

ATER Padova, the provincial public housing agency, manages public homes and tenant services (tenant portal, maintenance, emergency service) and sells properties from its stock at auction. It publishes the list of the public-housing (ERP) calls of the province's municipalities: applications follow the call of the municipality concerned.

University residences

ESU Padova reports more than 1,650 beds in residences and three guesthouses for short stays. In the city the residences are in Portello (Camplus Portello, WeCampus), Arcella (Trieste), Stanga (Studium), Santa Rita (Foresta), Cave (Galileo Galilei), San Lazzaro (Carli, Colombo) and many streets of the centre and the districts; outside the city in Cadoneghe, Rubano, Legnaro (Agripolis), Rovigo, Vicenza and Castelfranco Veneto.

Enrolled students apply on the Sportello Studente portal according to the annual call; exchange students fill in the Accommodation form and cannot choose the residence. Rates vary with merit, economic situation and type of residence.
