The Policlinico San Matteo is an IRCCS at viale Camillo Golgi 19, Pavia (phone 0382.5011). According to the site's pavilion map, the General Emergency Room is in pavilion 43, level -2, tower A, which also houses the DEA. The site lists the toll-free booking number 800.638638 (02 99.95.99 from mobiles).
ASST and local services
ASST Pavia, whose legal seat is at viale Repubblica 34, runs in the city the Casa di Comunità di Pavia, the viale Gorizia facility (ex PPT), the vaccination centre, the family clinic, a psycho-social centre (CPS) and the addiction service (SerD); the ASST's own general hospitals are in Vigevano, Voghera and Broni-Stradella. The out-of-hours page names ATS Pavia as a partner in the reorganisation.
Family doctor
The Scelta e Revoca service lets you choose or change your GP, renew your registration with the regional health service, and request exemptions and card duplicates. The ASST urges using the online services with SPID or CNS/PIN to avoid queues, and warns of slowdowns because of the new national registry. Out-of-hours doctor
From 15 October the ASST, with ATS Pavia and AREU, is reorganising out-of-hours care around a Central Hub: the European number 116117 is active Monday to Friday from 20:00 to 8:00, and 24 hours a day on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays and pre-holidays; the doctor answers by phone or video call and, if needed, arranges a surgery or home visit. The Pavia surgery is in the Casa di Comunità at piazzale Golgi 5: 20:00 to 24:00 on weekdays and 8:00 to 24:00 on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays and pre-holidays.
