Cost of living: progressive income-tax surcharge from 0.60% to 0.80%

For 2025 the Department of Finance lists for Ragusa a four-band municipal IRPEF surcharge, from 0.60% up to 15,000 euros to 0.80% above 50,000 euros (resolution no. 325 of 23 September 2024). The municipality applies the tourist tax and offers a free urban pass to students under 20 with ISEE up to 25,000 euros.

Municipal income-tax surcharge

For 2025 the Department of Finance database lists for Ragusa a surcharge with rates rising by band of taxable income. The reference resolution is no. 325, adopted on 23 September 2024 and published on 15 October 2025, which carries an amendment.

Other items

The Tributi (taxes) service manages the tourist tax, set per person and per night and graduated by type of accommodation. For resident students under 20 with ISEE not above 25,000 euros the municipality reopened in October 2026 the call for the free monthly urban pass.
