Seismic risk
In the Civil Protection Department's list of comuni, updated in May 2025, Rovigo is in zone 3, where strong earthquakes are less likely than in zones 1 and 2. The classification is used mainly for planning and land control; the design values for buildings depend on the coordinates of each construction.
Floods and landslides
According to the municipal sheet on IdroGEO, ISPRA's platform on hydrogeological instability, areas of high flood hazard (P3) cover 1.2% of the comune's roughly 109 km², with 22 residents exposed, and medium flood hazard areas (P2) cover 2.1%, with 65 residents. The sheet records no areas of high or very high landslide hazard.
