Municipality and registry
Through the municipality's "Prenota appuntamento" service you book the issue and renewal of the electronic identity card (each booking is valid for one person only), recovery of PIN and PUK codes, registry certificates, authentication of signatures and copies, birth declarations and the transcription of birth, marriage and divorce records drawn up abroad. Identity cards issued by the Adigetto office and not collected can be picked up at the URP. The municipal switchboard, at Piazza Bra 1, is 045 8077111.
Waste
Collection, treatment and disposal of municipal waste in Verona are entrusted to AMIA Verona, a company wholly controlled by AGSM AIM. Bulky-waste pickup is free and is booked on freephone 800 904363, in the AMIA app, at the URP on via Avesani 31 or with the online form, giving the tax code of the TARI account holder; small appliances, to be taken to the mobile eco-point or the recycling islands, and building rubble are not included.
In San Michele Extra and part of Borgo Trieste (Frugose, Madonna di Campagna, San Michele centre) residual and organic waste go into access-controlled bins opened with the card linked to the TARI account or with the app; paper and mixed packaging are collected door to door once a week at night, and glass goes in open bins.
