Transport: municipal local transport, Cotral and the Riello terminus
Local public transport is run by the Comune di Viterbo (Settore I, Local Public Transport Office). In July 2026 the Comune and Cotral signed a protocol to redevelop the Cotral terminus at Riello as a mobility hub. The pass price is in the data.

Who organises the service
On the Comune's website local public transport falls under Settore I (integrated security, Local Police, urban mobility, digital administration) and the Local Public Transport Office, which manages and organises vehicles on municipal territory. The Comune also handles enrolment in school transport for primary and lower-secondary schools.
Cotral and Riello
Cotral has a terminus at Riello. In a news item of 20 July 2026 the Comune announced the redevelopment project to turn the terminus into a modern mobility hub for Viterbo and the province, and on 21 July it reported the signing of the protocol with Cotral.
