What the red zone means
The Campi Flegrei red zone is the area where, in case of alarm, preventive evacuation of the population is the only safeguard measure in the national plan. Fuorigrotta lies in it entirely, like Bagnoli, Soccavo and Pianura. The alert level has been yellow since 2012; the decree of 30 October 2025 adopted the operational phase of attention.
