Transport: AMAG Mobilità city buses, SMS tickets and the BIP system
Urban transport in Alessandria (and Valenza) is run by AMAG Mobilità: timetables and fares on its site, tickets also purchasable by SMS, cards of the regional BIP – Biglietto Integrato Piemonte system and the Eccobus service. The company also runs structured car parks such as Rovereto and via Parma. In the winter months the anti-smog limits on older vehicles apply.

City buses and tickets
AMAG Mobilità runs Alessandria's urban lines, with timetables and fares published on its website along with the list of resellers; tickets can also be bought by SMS. The company takes part in the regional BIP – Biglietto Integrato Piemonte system, issues free-travel cards for those entitled and runs the Eccobus service; appointments with the pass office are booked online. It also runs the urban service in Valenza.
Parking and restrictions
AMAG Mobilità also manages structured car parks, including the Rovereto and via Parma ones. Drivers must allow for the anti-smog limits: in built-up areas vehicles up to Euro 2 are banned all year, and from 15 September to 15 April Euro 3 and 4 diesels are added on weekdays, with road corridors kept open towards the designated car parks.
