Train, motorway, airport
According to the university's campus page, direct trains from Pescara, Rome and Naples arrive at Chieti Scalo station (piazzale Marconi). By car, from Rome exit at Chieti on the A25; Aeroporto d'Abruzzo is on the Tiburtina road, between Chieti and Pescara.
Buses
TUA S.p.A. (Società Unica Abruzzese di Trasporto) has its registered office in Chieti, at via Asinio Herio 75. The contact centre is 800.14.28.80, open on weekdays from 7 to 20. The site points to the planner tua.mycicero.it for «all timetables». The «Linee e orari» page explicitly lists the urban lines of Pescara and Sulmona and a list of municipalities served by extra-urban and suburban lines, but does not name urban lines of Chieti: for routes to and from Chieti use the planner or ask TUA.
ZTL and pedestrian areas
The Comune publishes the service «Contrassegno di parcheggio per disabili» (disabled parking permit): it lets a vehicle serving a person with a disability drive and park in limited traffic zones (ZTL) and urban pedestrian areas (APU) where access is authorised. The pages consulted give no resident parking permits.
