According to the Chieti Pescara Chamber of Commerce, at the end of June 2026 the province of Chieti had 43,246 registered businesses, of which 37,679 were active. The Chieti job centre, run by the Abruzzo Region, is at via Spezioli 42 and serves the city and seven nearby municipalities.

Job centre
The Chieti job centre (Centro per l'impiego) is at via Spezioli 42. According to the regional SELFI portal it covers Bucchianico, Casalincontrada, Chieti, Francavilla al Mare, Ripa Teatina, San Giovanni Teatino, Torrevecchia Teatina and Villamagna. The portal gives front-office hours for Abruzzo's job centres from Monday to Friday, 9:30 to 13:00, plus Tuesday and Thursday from 15:30 to 16:30.
