According to Movimprese, in 2025 the province of Ragusa recorded 1,873 business registrations and 1,262 closures, a balance of 611 and growth of 1.75%: fifth out of 105 provinces, against an Italian average of 0.96%. The regional employment centre has units in Modica and Vittoria; the Chamber of Commerce is that of South-East Sicily.
