Work: bank, university, university hospital and Chamber of Commerce studies
Three large institutions weigh on Siena's job market: Banca Monte dei Paschi (founded 1472, according to its site), the University and the Azienda ospedaliero-universitaria Senese. The Arezzo-Siena Chamber of Commerce publishes annual economic-statistical reports and a tourism observatory for the province.

Long-standing employers
The Monte dei Paschi di Siena Group site presents the bank as founded in 1472 as a Monte di Pietà and as the oldest bank still operating in the world. The city is also home to the University of Siena, with a School of Medicine and Health Sciences, and to the Azienda ospedaliero-universitaria Senese, whose hospital is Le Scotte; for competitions and applications look at their sites: the AOU one has an "Avvisi e bandi" section.
Local data
The Arezzo-Siena Chamber of Commerce, in its Studies and research section, publishes yearly economic-statistical reports for the province of Siena (2022 to 2026) and a Tourism Observatory with data on arrivals, stays, accommodation supply and the tourism value chain; it also hosts the monthly Excelsior bulletins on hiring needs. Employment and unemployment rates are in the data.
