Public housing

Part of Bolognina's housing is public housing run by ACER. In 2014 the Patto ConVivere mentioned the renovation of the courtyards of via Fioravanti/Bolognesi and via Albani. The Navile quartiere's 2018 dossier reports a Contratto di Quartiere II on via Francesco Albani with demolition and reconstruction for 64 public-housing (ERP) flats, and a Bolognina-specific process on the empty ground-floor units in ACER buildings.

New development sites

The former fruit and vegetable market site is the main urban project in the area: the 2018 dossier plans new housing, a school campus, the Casa della Salute Navile health centre and a cultural centre reusing the historic canopy. A new office and retail complex is planned on the former Officine Casaralta site. The progress of each project should be checked with the Comune and the Navile quartiere.

For frequent travellers

Closeness to the station is one of the points the Comune uses to describe the area: the via de' Carracci entrance leads directly to the high-speed trains.
