Biblioteca Mario Luzi
The Biblioteca Mario Luzi, at via Ugo Schiff 8 on the corner of via Gabriele D'Annunzio, is part of Florence's municipal library network and has a children's and young people's section. Beyond its regular hours it has evening and Sunday openings for reading and study run with the Taralluzzi Amici della Luzi association, with registration required.
Services and participation
Quartiere 2's activities include the Spazio Giovani Cure youth space and the «La tana dell'orso» toy library; Villa Arrivabene hosts the Quartiere's public meetings and events. In 2026 the Quartiere launched a participatory process with public assemblies on how to rethink piazza Vasari.
