Getting around from the Oltrarno
The Oltrarno is covered on foot and by bus. Autolinee Toscane runs the C1 shuttle from the Parterre to Santa Maria Soprarno and Porta Romana, lines 12 and 13 between Santa Maria Novella station, Rotonda Barbetti and piazzale Michelangiolo, and from Porta Romana lines 38 and 42 towards the hills.

C1 shuttle and lines 12 and 13
In Autolinee Toscane's list of urban lines the C1 shuttle links the Parterre with Santa Maria Soprarno and Porta Romana. Lines 12 and 13 connect Santa Maria Novella station, Rotonda Barbetti and piazzale Michelangiolo, in opposite directions.
From Porta Romana
From Porta Romana line 38 runs to Poggio Imperiale and Pian dei Giullari, and line 42 to Marignolle. Up-to-date routes, stops and timetables are on each line's page on the Autolinee Toscane website.
