Registry matters are handled by Municipalità 1, with offices in largo Torretta and via Santa Caterina a Chiaia; changes of residence are made online only. ASIA has separate door-to-door calendars for households, shops and beach establishments in Posillipo. In summer access to some public beaches is free but by booking.

Municipalità and registry office
Posillipo belongs to Municipalità 1 together with Chiaia and San Ferdinando. The main office is at largo Torretta 19, the secondary office at via Santa Caterina a Chiaia 76. According to the Municipalità's page, changes of residence can only be made electronically, while electronic identity cards are booked through the city's PrenotaCIE service. The city's street directory shows which municipalità each street belongs to.
Waste
ASIA Napoli publishes three door-to-door collection calendars for Posillipo: one for households, one for shops and one for beach establishments. They are downloaded from the calendars page by choosing Municipalità 1.
Beaches
Some public beaches in Posillipo are reached through licensed beach clubs. The city, the Port System Authority of the Central Tyrrhenian Sea and the licence holders have made agreements that, in recent seasons, allow free access with online booking on spiaggelibere.it; access to the Gaiola beach is managed by the marine protected area, with booking on its website. Places, times and rules have changed several times: check them at the start of each summer.
