Who covers the city
The municipal territory is covered entirely by ASL Città di Torino, created on 1 January 2017 by merging ASL TO1 and TO2, with its head office at via San Secondo 29. The authority is developing community care facilities: those named on its website include the Casa di Comunità Ridotto, the one in the former Istituto Marco Antonetto, and the Botticelli Casa di Comunità with a community hospital and an operations centre for home care.
The ASL's hospitals
The ASL runs four hospitals in the city: the Maria Vittoria–Amedeo di Savoia, which hosts a DEA (emergency and admissions department, with pronto soccorso); the San Giovanni Bosco, the largest in the northern part of the city, along corso Sempione; the Martini, in Circoscrizione 3 (Pozzo Strada area); and the Oftalmico, Turin's reference hospital for ophthalmology with 75 beds.
Città della Salute e della Scienza
The Città della Salute e della Scienza university hospital trust, with its registered office at corso Bramante 88, was created by merging three regional reference hospitals and provides tertiary-level care; the Molinette site is in the same corso Bramante complex.
Bookings
To book visits and tests, the ASL points to the CUP and the regional toll-free number 800 000 500, alongside the regional online channels described in the Piedmont entry.
