Buses
The urban network is run by Autolinee Toscane: in the city you use the "urbano capoluogo" ticket, and the Comune di Livorno offers discounts on tickets and passes. Lines, timetables, notices, sales points and the network map are on the operator's website and in the at bus app.
Cars, ZTL and parking
Part of the city is regulated by limited-traffic zones (ZTL) and controlled-parking zones (ZSC). Permits are requested only online on the municipal portal with SPID, CIE or CNS and paid through PagoPA; besides residents they can be obtained by "dimoranti", people living in a property in the zone without being registered residents (ownership, registered lease, free loan), and by guests of a resident staying for study, work or medical treatment. The Mobility Office is on via Marradi.
The municipality supports a round-trip electric car sharing service (Playcar), with bays on via del Porticciolo, piazza Italo Piccini, Scali D'Azeglio, via Grande and piazza Dante; the cars park free in ZTL and ZSC areas.
Port
The port of Livorno handles ferries and cruise ships as well as cargo and is linked to the national road and rail network and to Pisa and Florence airports. Passenger ferry timetables and the cruise calendar are published by the port system.
